That's right. Dad turned 50 years old. As he would put it "a half a century old". I told him it was all down hill from here.

Planting the Garden
Ok, so the weather in Idaho leaves much to be desired, but we had to get the garden planted. It was not so warm and we ending up planting half the garden in the rain (we ended up soaked). But we managed to have a good time spending time together. It will all be worth it when we are eating corn on the cob.

Happy Mothers Day!!!
What a wonderful holiday. To celebrate the mothers in our lives. I had a wonderful day. Macy is old enough that she understands what is going on and she has been so cute. They made really cute cards at the daycare, and the little poem inside made me cry. Then they used paint to paint their hand prints on the cards, something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I was able to spend the afternoon with my mom. I always love spending time with her. My mom is my best friend and I am so grateful to have her in my life. Love you lots mom!!!

Cherish the moment
I fixed Macy's hat by putting the flowers on it. It was so cute, so I asked her to stand there for me to get a picture. Austin liked the idea of having his picture taken as well. So I got them together. Their favorite thing is to be able to look at the picture after you take them. They always ask as soon as the picture is taken "Let me see". I am so willing to take their pictures as many times as they will let me. I just hope that they are always like that.

Bear World
Macy had a field trip to Bear World for Kindergarten. They invited the parents and siblings to come along. I took the morning off work and took Austin with us. We rode the bus and went through Bear World. The Bears were amazing, it was so cool to be able to see them up that close. Then we had a lunch and went through the petting zoo. The kids had a really good time, I was so glad that we were able to go.

No More Training Wheels!!!
Wow! I can't believe how big my Macy is getting. She decided that she wanted to learn how to ride her bike without the training wheels. (Plus we couldn't find the training wheels to put back on.) Once she set her mind to it, she could ride all over with no help. She was so proud of herself and wanted to show off her new talent to everyone.
